There are many pieces to the reading puzzle. A good reader is equipped with all of the pieces needed to be successful. It is the job of a teacher to lay out all of the pieces to the reading puzzle and then help your student connect them together.
If you don't teach your child ALL of these pieces, you greatly increase the probability that your child will struggle. DON'T TAKE THAT RISK! Start your child off right by making sure you teach ALL the pieces to the reading puzzle.
